This Modversion is for the unreleased Supreme Commander game version 3652. If u dont have the 3652(beta) version, you cant use this Mod at the moment!

Hello All,

this is an update of Total Mayhem to version 1.23 for the Supreme Commander game version 3652.

Total Mayhem (3652) v1.23

How to install:
Unzip the archive. It contains 2 folders. Mods and Sounds.

Copy the TotalMayhem folder from inside the Mods directory to:
"C:\...User...\My Games\Gas Powered games/Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Mods\"

Copy all files from inside the Sounds folder to your Game/Sounds directory:
"C:\...games...\Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance\Sounds\"

Thats all.

For older Supreme Commander versions (before 3650) use the latest Total Mayhem version from Burnie (V1.21 released 16.Jan.2016):

Hi there. I just discovered this mod and I cannot believe how much enjoyment it adds!!

However, I have a slight issue with the version 1.21, the experimentals Tech one (did not try the others) do not attack at all. Is this a bug, or some can it be some incompatibilities? I only have Sup Com original music and resources rich mod activated (plus TM and BO Icon support). Should upgrading to the beta patch and new TM version fix it?

Hello Violins77,

i am not really sure why the unit dont Fire. It's most likely a wrong game version.

You asked in another thred, if u should update your game to the newes beta. I say yes, you should. :mrgreen:
The changes in the game are not so big. You already mentioned the HQ and support factories.
Most changes are bugfixes or game speed optimizations.

The drawback is, that many mods dont work with the 3652beta (they dont even work with the actual 3650 patch)
But the good thing, there are already some updated mods available.

If u dont like to update your game, please tell me you actual Supreme Commander Game Version, and i will check if Total mayhem 1.21 is compatible.

Thank you for answering! I really don't mind updating FAF to 3652, but how does one go about downloading it? It doesn't seem like it's available anywhere...

My version says 3650 in the skirmish menu!

TotalMayhem 1.21 is for gameversion 3649 and lower.
TotalMayhem 1.23 is for gameversion 3652 and higher

For the Gameversion 3650 is no TotalMayhem mod available.


Sadly the beta is not public at the moment. So lets try a hack to get the beta Version of the game;

Ok, i expect you are already playing with the FA Forever Lobby, and you had already started a game over Play -> Create Custom Games -> FAF

Now, download the Beta Files from my webspace here:

[Edit] Please use FAForever for Beta Download! (link disabled)

Extract the .rar archive, and copy/Override the folder "bin" and "gamedata" from inside the archive to:
C:/ProgrammData/FaForever/
(The folder Programmdata is hidden by Windows-default!)

Now make a Desktopshortcut from the file:
C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\ForgedAlliance.exe
(Rightclick the file and select "Send to" -> Desktop Shortcut")

Open the shortcut and change the Command line (target) to:
C:\ProgramData\FAForever\bin\ForgedAlliance.exe /init init_balanceTesting.lua

Rename the Shortcut to 3652beta (or whatever you want).

After starting the game with this shortcut, open a Skirmishgame.
You should now see the version 3652.

[Edit] The Betaversion of the game is available again over the FAForever Lobby. Just start it from there.
(Play -> Create Custom Games -> FAF Beta)

Hey everyone, I'm new to FAF but I've enjoyed playing with Total Mayhem since its earliest few releases.

I'm experiencing the hover / no attack problem and I do have the newest update of supcom (HQ factories and all...)
Edit: I've only tested with Cybran because they are the best
The issue appears to be for very specific units; all t3, t4 experimental bipedal walkers as well as the large t4 lobster like thing. All the six legged walkers work though, same with the various airships. -they do make sounds though as if they were attacking.

I've tried 1.23 in both mod directories (my games and steam), and I've reinstalled FAF a couple times.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Anyone have any ideas?

welcome to FAF :)

broken animations and floating units are a common problem with wrong gameversions.

You said, you are using both directories, MyGames and Steam. Well, this means you are using the Steam version of the game ? Perfect !!!
I just realease a new update for Total Mayhem. I patched the mod to work with all game versions. But i dont have the Steam version to test it.

Maybe you can do me a favor and test the new version for me ?
Just start the game, with only Total Mayhem v1.25 enabled. Dont use any Icon Support mod etc.. Total Mayhem can handle the icons now.
