Yep, and we are talking about how some of us don't like it and think it should have focused on T3 land.

Thanks, but HP changes regardless of whether they work or not is just silly to me when other things need to be addressed.

I think they already said that t3 changes are planned for next patch or smth like that, no?
And its definitely more silly to ignore the changes and bash them only cause they didnt focus on whatever feature you have in mind :geek:

I will certainly do that Mozart, but I don't see any theoretical thoughts on how I'd see diversity and enhanced balanced on this one.... I feel like it's just being done to be done... Kind of weird direction but I'll keep to my word and honor your reply to give it a chance

Random ideas below:

Mech Marines should be able travel underwater. It would match their name, but it's too much a big change according to some people. *Shrugs* Half their movement speed underwater if necessary. Obviously Aeon and Sera players would lose the sense of security on island maps versus UEF players. It's just mech marines. A minor annoyance until 80 appear on the beach... WWII D day.

A faction should be granted a T1 air staging building. (Not Cybran)

Aeon air T2 air staging building can be placed on water. (Just another gimmick)

T2 sparky can shoot from transports. (Is it possible? LOL)

As someone else suggested; sera T2 gunship should be a tech 2.5 unit, or just give it a radar. (Radar gimmick)

T3 Broadsword radar jammer should be added. (Jamming is UEF thing )

T3 Wailer should have stealth like everyone else. Jammer removed. ( Stealth is Cybran thing )

Triple aeon's T1 submarine sight range if it raises to the surface. No deck gun, so it just sees better. (Sight gimmick)


I wanted a battleship with a strategic defense missile launcher. I was thinking the Aeon Omen class should get it. The missile should build and cost like a normal nuke defense missile. That gimmick might be too useful. Nuking fleets would just go away. I'm not a Seton's player, but I'm sure this would distabilize Seton's game play. We can't have that, obviously.

Aeon's strategic missile defense was placable on water in a distant past. Then it was removed... *Thinks*

This was on my idea/possible changes list. Up to jagged if he wants to take it now.

this aeon subs change seems a nice idea. Would make surfacing aeon sub usefull. Not sure about how much vision it should give though. (maybe something else than vision ?)

This is in the equilbrium changelog. Up to jagged if he wants the finished, working code.

also some interesting ideas there, expect at least one of them in the next eq version, prolly released tomorrow or something
