Many people and mostly Ive heard its not THAT hard. Just have to use all available options.

I've try to drop in the small civilian base in the south west but the T2 PD is killing everything in seconds. But most time I can't even reach the drop point because the fighter groups are focusing my transports.

Took me 8 minutes to break through first base on hard difficulty. Super easy now. I didnt even need to try hard as in previous versions...

You should make a video .. 8min.. maybe if you know all the "exploits" or with 2 ACUs.

Maybe later, but right now you should think about improving if even AI beats you. Even Exotic_Retard beat it no problem.

Well beating a Sorian aix with 1.7/1.7 on a normal map is no problem for me. It's more about the way you have to play this mission. Everything on the start of the mission feels like using every kind exploit the game offers. If you get the first tech centre, everything else is absolutely no problem. All I try to say is that the start is not hard in a way of eco management or build orders, it's about knowing the exact time to build a transport and get some engineers to the tech building. If you have the gun upgrade for the ACU, it's very easy to move on.

If you compare the difficulty from section one to section two, three and four then section one is very hard while section two ,three and four are rather easy.

I dont do any transport exploit or anything like that. Just bunch of factories, land units, bit of air and steamroll the first base. Easy as can be.

I thought sneaking around with transport was the key?! thats considered exploit?

Its not the key, its perfectly doable without it but its not an exploit either. But that IM slowly teaching AI how to counter these things is another story.

ok well i just played threw on hard the whole thing.....

this time i didn't use any drop ships to capture the tech centers either... the first 2 parts where hardish... but after that it was a cake walk

once i plowed the bottem base, i waited till i killed most of it and captured t2 air.... once i started making t2 bombers i realized thats all you really need from then on... was able to just kill the seraphine acu and the 3 bases practially with bombers only... Morax was never in any danger either.

killed the seraphine acu in 1 pass despite his 40k+ hp with something like 160 t2 bombers

I never even got to hear Morax say anything because he never complained


i had already killed the seraphine acu and bases before it wanted me to get the trucks and morax to safty.
