logic? the hq mod rather brought questionable complexity to the game
instead of simply upgrading factories it forces decisions to make a mainfactory (on which people still go and spam buildpower at anyway) and subfactories instead of having normal factories with reasonable cost, build efficiency and maintainancecost to ballance the spacing of this game´s battleescalationphases .. the only thing good about the engymod imo is to have reasonable constructionunits at all phases ..
the need to build HQ´s added another vulnerabilty to this game when there are already so many of them and like with many of these vulnerabilities it´s not much of a decision, you have to make use of it or otherwise fall behind in economy and production ...
lose a hq and your subfactories cease to function and to my knowledge you can´t upgrade a supfactory to a HQ (correct if wrong, haven´t played since the need of steamlinking)
meaning you have to build a HQ basicaly from scratch unless you have a spare t1 factory somewhere ..
on a sidenote i don´t realy see why it should not be possible to straight up give the order to build a t2/t3 HQ or t2/t3 supportfactory ..
what would be the difference to having them upgraded? you can straight up build t2/t3 mexxes, radar, stationary shields .. why are factory´s the exception?
