1) Why do buildings take 0 damage from ACU explosion?

I mean com bombs are already considered pretty viable weapons in certain circumstances in teamgames. If you add the ability to destroy PD, shields, eco, etc then you now basically made teleporting mazorcom pay off 100% of the time and killed any enjoyment in any eco-based maps.

Really I see it doing nothing but promoting bad gameplay.

No one said it had to be a nuke like in original, but some 400 hp damage like an OC to the building seems reasonable. I hope I am speaking to a reasonable person, if not, please ignore :)

Doesn't comnuke already deal 500 damage to buildings?

I watched a replay, t1 and t2 pds took no damage with acu exploding next to them

afaik it is not 0 damage but somewhere between 80 and 98.
i already pointed it out before, that it is extremely weird that radars can survive nuke blast.
but counterargument was that people in "fullshare" teamgames rush with acu to enemy base, damage t1 pgens a little bit, and then explode and all t1 pgens die while their base in intact and given to ally.

what is also annoying that in 1v1 ACU also does not do damage to buildings, you can't kill PD/AA/shields or really can't kill any buildings with acu explosions if you plan to get a draw that way. E.G. fly in on a transport with ACU, explode static aa and kill acu with mercies is no longer possible.

Are you sure? I’ve always noticed it being around 400-500.


i have not tested in a long time, but i think you have not tested it in many years.
just tested, it deals 80 damage.
