Nukes would be fine as-is if it was not for the "jam-packed" start position culture of team game maps.

They have a fairly limited range, but since everyone wants to play games where bases are so close to each other, it's a weapon that can end a game with ease. Because of this, it's driven balance to adjust it.

I don't think the nuke should be a "game-ender" but more of a tactical choice to eliminate critical holds.

Actually the closer the spawn positions the worse nukes are. They benefit from spread out bases because now it takes 4 SMDs to stop the investment of 1 SML. It’s the same principle as why TMLs are so absurdly strong in high mex 2v2s or 3v3s.

That's a good point, actually.

I kind of feel like it would be best to invest less in bases that are "out there," but that's like saying one or two players are susceptible from the start.

My only rebuttal to that is if a team does not invest in an smd, it's gg. This happens so frequently I got hooked on thinking this way.

Mongoose:
Looks like a big buff. +20%(or more?) dps to one of weapons and a lot of accuracity. Is it really that bad ATM?

T2 shilelds.
Huge mass cost increase. I understand that it have cost of PGens in it.
So nums: ^_^
Aeon: 35 = 7% of T2 PGen = 84 mass vs 76 (-8)
UEF: 50 = 10% of T2 Pgen = 120 mass vs 100 (-20)
Ser: 150 = 30% of T2 Pgen = 360 mass vs 360 (0)
or 6% of T3 Pgen = 194 vs 360 (+166)

Aeon as before
UEF boost
Serafim nerf

Also: what overspill means?

Amphibious torpedos:
Fatboy? Monkeylord?

Engineers:
Better build range increase IMO. Gives some divercity.
T1 fast
T3 slow and far
T2 in middle

Sidenote:
Buildrange increase from ACU T2/T3 upgrade?


Scathis:
Another T4 Arty gameender? We have 2 (3 with yolona oss)
