Hey what's up guys, it's ya boi, the dude that doesn't realize other factions exist! Here is the UEF insight on this patch:

1) Obsidian push is legit just as if not more dangerous than the pillar push and the entire reason it wasn't abused before was because of how unreasonable harbs were.
2) Titan will lose to loyas when not given solid micro and they lose to a fair degree against harb/othuum in mass equivalent numbers (taking into account pgens for the e drain).
3) It's the best sure but it isn't in an entirely different category than the brick as it was before. UEF still needs SOME edge in the T3 bot front due to no direct fire T4.
4) I don't see the point to the HP FaCtiOn DiVeRsiTy and if people want to remove it sure.
5) I'd switch UEF ACU with Aeon ACU a n y d a y.
6) T2 was always pretty lively for phim/UEF. Aeon has no real reason to not have an active T2 phase in the new patch. The only faction with 1) a bad rambo ACU 2) no mobile shield is Cybran and it's preeeeeeeeeeeetty hard to make their T2 stage active with those realities.


I love how people that only main UEF give opinions on how other factions are stronger than uef. 't2 aeon got stronger by nerfing harbingers', lmao.

Wanna give me an explanation for why Aeon t2 rambo is weaker than UEF t2 rambo or are we just going to wait for your new forum account to be banned again? Also "only main" is superfluous. If you main something, of course you "only main" it.

As stated before I like the patch, but now that t2 is more prominent for factions like Cybran, can we do something to the Rhino's firing arc? it's pretty low to the ground and can sometimes hit the terrain.

That's laser-type weaponry in general. If this gets attention please make the Sera t2 pd fire in an arc as well haha

i've recently toyed around with seraphim oc sacus a bit and noticed that their overcharge was affected by the change of this patch as well, which lead to a very weird interaction.

Because overcharge now drains energy when the shot lands instead of when you fire it (for some reason), when you have multiple sacus but not the energy to fire both of them, you can do that anyway. I guess you could do that before in a way, but the larger delay makes this happen naturally just by turning on the auto overcharge. This breaks the whole "only fire 90% of the power" part pretty badly and usually means all the scouted signatures will be gone if you have 3 or more scus shooting at buildings or an experimental. You can try to build more storage, but you need disgusting amounts of both storage and general power income to prevent that from happening.

This can also be exlpoited pretty badly: with 4 coms and about 50k energy in storage you can oneshot a monkeylord even though you dont even remotely have the power to do that, only to then sit in the hole for a while as you pay off the loan for the shots you clearly couldnt afford.

More generally, i feel like the increased power cost really guts the oc sacus, and they weren't even good units before the change. I know changing their oc but not the coms would break consistency, but i think gutting one of the more interesting units in the game is far worse.

Also, i noticed that overcharges sometimes do no damage at all. Isn't there supposed to be a minimal damage to them? How does that work?

Can't we make it so you manually select the energydrain/damage of your OC (like 3 modes or so)?

or why someone whould want do more dmg and spend more e as kill a unit ?

Yes if we are talking about high hp unit, oc with low e will still weaken them without costing too much e. Maybe you don't have enough to 1 shot them already and prefer to not use all your e in 1 oc that won't kill the unit anyway...
