wassa was expensive but not completely useless until microing/hoverbombing was nerfed in a ridiculous way.
In the most cases it drops now 1-2 bombs before it dies and gives the enemy team a nice mass boost (u need 2 bombs to break shields).
But in comparison to the excessive costs, u need to destroy lots of important things to balance it.

And then... (!) it doesnt drop a bomb every time.

imo not worth m48k, e780k.

It can onehit com (as far as i know) and drops any shields in 1 hit. You'll need two of those to snipe an unshielded com, but yet, again, risk and big mass gift if you fail

It can onehit com
T1 com (aeon and cybran), yes

and drops any shields in 1 hit
T2 shield (except aeon and cybran ED4), yes

You'll need two of those to snipe an unshielded com
better build 25 t3 bomber (!) for about 50% of the costs. (about the same HP and 81k DMG with 1 drop instead of 22k)
ps. will drop every time and u can micro them

ah, right, its dmg is just 11k.

It has the same problem as any air experimental. 20-25 asfs and it's dead in 5 seconds. Changing values on it won't deal with the systemic issue that air combat really has.

It's either a totally uncounterable tool when a team has air advantage. Or it's a useless mass donation when air is contested.

I think static anti-air should have a buff since t3 air is only vulnerable to t3 AA, these defenses have low ROF while air units are spammable

there are also cruisers or t3 maa wich u can move.

also, i dont think that would keep games open if u buff static defenses.

Static T2 AA got buffed in last balance patch: http://content.faforever.com/patchnotes ... structures

If you think its not enough, you could have a talk with jagged maybe? I'm sure he'll appreciate any feedback.

static AA is never meant to replace air units. It does not need any more buffs!
Don't complain about that which you aren't willing to change.

Static defenses are always meant to beat easily units of the same level.

The problem with T3 AA is their poor rate of fire + the fact that they all focus the same unit due to the travel time of the projectile.
T3 mobile AA are not bad but the Seraph one has the same problem as static turret.
