I know enough from setons front that I should not be pushing at minute 10 without flak. I have seen t3 gunship on setons enough kill a pushing mid com early... next time bring shields and flak or don't push at all. If you want to be aggressive, you have to sacrifice t2 tanks for some flak, it is that simple.

Yeah, sure. Let's see you do that on other maps, please. I'm sick of this elitism knowledge from someone that can't be bothered to try other maps. I've come to play Setons and am going through the painful process of learning it, so why can't you do so elsewhere?

Firstly I had that kind of shit years ago, which is why I played a bunch of other maps for a while back in 2013/2014. It might well be the case that you cannot push if you make flak since you lose advantage to ground troops. Well then, don't push? In my perspective, a team game will be something like this: high rated air player + low rated land spam player vs low rated air player + high rated land spam player.

The people complaining are the high rated land spam player. But if they are higher rated than their opponent, it is their duty to have the skill necessary to win while making flak. You have to play based on team composition, it is quite simple.

Maybe that is not super enjoyable, I know the feeling all too well. But that is the burden you have to carry. The balance of the T3 gunship is not at fault here.

I find it funny that people accuse setons of just being 4 1v1s when this thread essentially seems to be being pissed that your 1v1 is disrupted by some air player :D

Don't remember the exact numbers, but t3 gunships are definitely way less E than asfs especially UEF broadswords which are the most mass heavy.

Also way slower and take longer to build. Why so hard for enemy to scout and spam inti or swift winds or rush an asf if needed?

Okay, somewhat guilty here as I do include a little air in my build but oft not enough if the "air player" and my mirror attack me which is technically a 2v1.

I do enjoy that last statement where my main frustration lies: I am getting sick of the game ending for me and others when 1 unit dies. It's so easy to look away from ACU for like 5 seconds then see it almost dead with no time to react; this happens PLENTY.

The game just is not enjoyable with only 10 mins of aggression. Is it too much to complain about this? Should aggressive play-style really just be frowned upon and we go back to Supp Comm 1 sim-city style with no aggression until the later stages?

I fear the balance changes and strategy culture we have bred has gone full-circle as one of the major benefits of Forged Alliance was removing OP t3 mass fabs where people no longer had to control territory. Now, we have to simply stop trying to be aggressive because too dangerous.

I guess the t3 gunship is not the worry but more just the way things are.
