People who used to only go first-bomber are now becoming less relevant as their cheese tactic is no longer viable. I have begun enjoying 1v1 approximately 40% more than in previous encounters thanks to this decision.

Not 100% on board with the patch as whole still as t2 hq cost increase is a pain, but it's really fun to see people who only knew talent-less strategies are now weeping in the corner.

You're doing it wrong. You should complain about the patch being too slow and going in the wrong direction while questioning the sanity and or competence of whoever is responsible for anything.

I'm only complementing one aspect of the patch as 1v1 gameplay has been less "cheese" than before.

Regardedless of your opinion about hoverbombing, it required skill to be done, I wouldnt call it talent-less.
And the lost of one viable strategy shouldnt be celebrated, otherwise we will end up with just one way to play the game (like 1st and 2nd land being the *best* option right now in most of the ladder maps).

P.S. I dont care about homberbombing being removed.

completely removeing 1rst bomber as a strategic choice is not great imho
i'd hope to get some t1 bomber tweaks in next patch, especially build time

We're not going to end up with only ONE way to play the game. Thanks to t2 air hqs costing the same versus land/navy increase, air force, gunships, t2 bombers, cruise missiles, etc are a lot more threatening.

With one strategy closed more avenues have been opened in Zock's patch than less. I still don't like having to become so creative to stop aurora spam in 1v1 but it's fun to have to be more thought-provoked.

Now if only I could figure out a way to stop Percies in late game when you are against UEF.... :(

1) 1st bomber is NOT removed, it's efficient af if used properly.
2) increase in cost of T2 HQs leaves all factions at a great disadvantage against aeon T1. Since HQ costs more, it's harder to get Mongoose or ilshas to counter Aurora. And don't tell me that
you can fight aurora with strikers efficiently
, because it's not feasible to do vs. good player.
Don't complain about that which you aren't willing to change.

1st bomber is basically out of the game, it's a waste to build and any prior bo's to finish it in a reasonable time are now worthless

You still have T2 air at the same price, which capitalises on he already huge weakness of aurora vs air, and also

And besides just get pillars at min 4 and carve a swath through 12 aurora each....
