More a bug than a balance thing, but...

I have seen the Cybran ACU do weird things lately. If you order it to assist it sometimes starts to walk in one direction and doesn't stop. This makes it a liability at best and downright game-forfeiting in any other case.

I thought I'd point it out before the other Cybran nerfs are implemented in the game. The nerfs can be ok, not ok, somewhere in between (that's all for discussion) but the last thing we need is to have a weirdly acting Cybran ACU in it as well.

I'll look up one of BRNKs games on youtube later, there's a nice demonstration in there.

The same bug was in a previous patch. Cybran's acu walks to engage every unit that gets into torpedo range. I saw it on Brink's video too xD The same thing may be happening with the other factions' acus; at least that was the case some patches ago, but it's less noticeable because they take their gun upgrade's range instead of the huge cybran torpedo range, but of course I'm just guessing.

has nothing to do with cybran, it happens to all ACUs. Would be cool to have it fixed indeed..

It's the GSR range I think. I have a tentative, experimental fix out for it undergoing testing in BlackOps, but it's a rather novel approach and needs some good time for any flaws to appear.

Mostly happens with cybran acu, fun when assisting TML and suddenly you find your com next to enemy pd.
