Cybran is by far the best faction in ranked

In ranked, Cybran is the best, and this is for many reasons, here are the most salient:

1: Mantis is cheaper, more versatile, faster, but no worse than other T1 tanks.
2: Jester offers powerful air-first option
3: No weakness at T2
4: Loyalist > Other T3 land
5: ACU has slightly less health, but more than double regen

Overall, Cybran is by-far the best. Other factions have strengths over cybran, but they are mostly at super-late game, high level T3 stage and simply don't matter in 1v1 ranked.

One one hand, we know, and you're right

But imo:

1: Mantis is worse off in any large fight, no easy micro solutions like striker or aurora, and sounds annoying
2: jester is the price of two bombers and dies to interceptors all the same, also one of the worst ghettos
3: no real strength either, besides stealth, but well thats getting nerfed
4: Loyalist > maybe titan if you're lucky and tbh not much else (im maining aeon so i have not much trouble #harbs)
5: Yes, but only gun or T2, and that is getting nerf anyways

While i disagree on your point saying that only the low level stuff matters in ladder, i do think that cybran have the least amount of overall weaknesses, allowing for a huge range of playstyles, unlike for eg one unit uef landspamming

(however, cybran are my least played faction, maybe because i dont like mirror matches? idk)

its micro intensive, normally having to run cybran frigs away from say aeon frigs results in total loss when they cannot shoot backwards

Having played a lot more ranked, I think the killer is the culmination of powerful, UNIQUE advantages:
1) Mantis can build
2) Destroyer walks on land
3) T1 air fac makes gunships
4) Fire beetle
5) Stealth planes

What unique advantages do other factions have?
Seraphim has the invisible scout. Aeon has the split gun upgrade and best T1 tank. UEF has.... something?

Cybran is far and away the best.

Mantis can help build Mexes in far away places. Cybran OP!!

- T3 Point Defence.
- Superior Siege Breaking Tools (T3 MML).
- Better Getto Gunships and Superior Transport Options (T2 and T3 Transports)
- Gunships which also work as Transports
- Has some of the best Air-to-Ground damage dealing options (Broadswords and
Strat Bombers)

So if playing "Starship Trooper" style mobile infantry is your thing. Then UEF should be one of your go to factions.

I do however agree with the OP's statement. Cybran is probably the best 1v1 faction. Primarily because it is geared with overwhelming offensive options. Given that unrelenting aggression is commonly the key to winning games it is not surprising that Cybran will come out on top.

I believe the best thing about Cybran is that it barely has any (really) bad units, whereas every other faction has.
