T2/T3 Mex HP

I've talked to many people about this and they have agreed with me that T2/T3 Mex HP nerf is in order, but I never saw a forum discussion about it. It's a very important change for promoting aggressiveness and has potential in making a few units much better (T2 Fighter Bombers and Gunships for example). Usually if you want to kill a t2 mex in <10s you will be donating the mass back as reclaim

Haven't given this much thought really, but just make sure T3 mexes dont get one shot by tml :lol:

Yep HQs also need a (big) HP nerf, not sure about PGens, but possibly. Have to think a lot about which units should kill them on how many shots etc.

Agreed, the amount of damage a lot of higher tier economy structures can tank is very high. Making raiding and aggressive play more viable is always a huge plus in my book.

Please add t1 mass storages in here. If it comes to killing mexes, people kill mexes only and leaving storages as it's inefficient and takes a lot of time to kill 4x 1600 hp units which costs only 800 mass total. If mass storages would have 400-600 hp, close to power storages, they would be a priority targets at least for raiding units that are soon to die or for t1, t2 bombers.
1) It would make killing storages efficient way to kill enemy mass production as storages near t2 mex give 3 income for 800 mass, while t2 mex itself gives 4 for 900 which is kinda close. 2)Bombers would additionally damage t2 mex. 3)It would be big headache to rebuild storages compare to rebuilding mex.

Edit, sniping storages near t3 mex would be even more efficient.

If you make the energy/mfabs buildings more fragile you should also lower the explode damage.

And then maybe lower also a bit energy and mass construction cost of HP nerfed mexes a bit. It would be a weired if after 30 minutes you only have t1 mexes, because of the nerf.

Speaking as a low rating player, Im not sure it'd be promoting agression much.

I would think twice about teching up mexes that are not in my core based if they're too easy to kill. Which might actually encourage slower progress.
