3HP missile kills all except aeon TMDs

Then obviously you never tried...

if you think tacpac was the only good thing about sera com, you're playing the game wrong


I never said that. I said it was the commander strong point.

But let's see other commanders to compare. I will not go on the Sera army as there is another topic on that.

On T1 stage: Sera is behind others, always was

Cybran has gun + stealth
Aeon has double gun or radar
EUF has gun, and more HP then Sera and drones

On T2 stage, sera com is a good com

Sera has gun + T2, like most of the other commander.
Aeon have to choose between T2 and second gun, and Cybran imho is the weaker one (still has to rely on gun/stealth)

Other upgrades on T2 eco stage
- Chrono: rarely used, but has some advantages
- Shileds for EUF and Aeon
- nano1: cost a lot but still can be acheived on T2 stage
- Tml com
- RAS and ARAS

Upgrades on T3 stage:
- Nano 2
- Shield 2
- Billy
- Teleport
- Lazer


What are the most unused upgrades ?
- EUF nano > Because you loose T2-T3 access
- Sera "super gun" Refracting Chronotron Amplifier > too expensive and too dangerous of you don't have the extra HP given by T2-T3
- Sera Field Restoration Field > because you loose gun
- Sera Rapid Restoration > Because you loose gun

You almost NEVER see those in games. And well, Sera has 3 of those.... Sera TML com was the best upgrade for the sera commander, not the only one, but the best one.

I don't see Aeon Chrono Dampener or Billy or Cybran torpedoes here

Sera has far and away the strongest and most versatile com overall

Some are underused true,

Chrono, you don't see it a lot, but can be very effective
Billy you do see it, not very often but happends
Cybran torp is used in most naval maps

But those 4 listed are hardly ever used. At least not on the 4000 + games i've seen.

The sera com is still a strong one, but don't have an edge like it used to have
- aeon double gun + shiled
- Cybran telemazer

It's now an EUF com, with less BP and less HP

On some maps you can use regen field (just get 10-15 ilshavoh aroun you and your in tip-topiary shake) and double nano is a beast in t2-t3 double gun is very good. And nano is the best (if you let it recharge)

It's been a while since I've stopped using the field generetor.

Nano and double fun is very nice for units, usless againt Exp as you don't have enough HP

it was only possible to kill those tmd when they were at more than 2/3 of the range of the tml com. otherwise the tml was killed. Just saying.

I've killed monkey lords like that, and with full vet and some otherwise useless mobile shields I can take a poorly microed GC

I just want sera to have 3hp missle. The biggest issue with tac was nothing was safe, not bases, not coms, Ect. And it wa too much. But this wasn't the answer. Also, why was it wrong sera tacpac was strictly better than uef? It's not like it was bad, and considering how weak seraphim is right now, it was appropriate. Thing is sera always used tac pac for the same reason aeon rush harbs: because they can't win anyother way. If aeon t2 was at least presentable they wouldn't need to harb Rush (notice this isn't an issue in steam version) and wouldn't do it so often. Similarly, if seraphim actually had a chance of wining the gam after the 20 min mark they wouldn't need to abuse tac pac to end it so quickly. So in a way buffing things is the answer, not nerfing them. It's true sera has the best overall com ( although aeon is a beast) but that's not a reason to nerf bat things. Also, how in gods good name do you expect sera to Eco snipe without tacpac?????? Drops???? They don't have a strong raid unit, end of story. This is why the original land balance was like it was, so sera could use ilshavohs as raiding tools (speed of 2.9) but now that that has been changed the seraphim army utterly lacks. So fix some of the other issues, and then buff the tacpac a little, it will be in a good place then.
