Postby ClockworkAlex » 23 Sep 2016, 06:52

I have searched for a bit for this and cannot find it. Is there either a key or way to bind a key to find the next idle mass extractor? Especially helpfull would be if I could select the next idle t1 mex etc then t2 mex etc etc.

Whats so funny ?

Keybinding for nearest idle Tech1 Massextractors:

Code: Select all
    ['select_idle_massext1'] = {action =  'UI_SelectByCategory +nearest +idle MASSEXTRACTION TECH1',
        category = 'selection', order = 1,},

And for Tech2:

Code: Select all
    ['select_idle_massext2'] = {action =  'UI_SelectByCategory +nearest +idle MASSEXTRACTION TECH2',
        category = 'selection', order = 2,},

Where and how do you add this ?

Is there a folder with your settings like a config ?

All keybinds are, as far as I know ( currently away from PC ), in your game.prefs file.

Code: Select all
    ['select_idle_massext1'] = {action =  'UI_SelectByCategory +nearest +idle MASSEXTRACTION TECH1',
        category = 'selection', order = 1,},

You need to edit the file "keyactions.lua" and enter those keybindings there. (you need to make a mod for this)

But you don't need to, there are already keybindings for it (if you are playing FAF), just press F1 and look for:
