Hi,


It should be a open mind for new mod being featured mod.

Each mod that is developed as to be hosted somewhere else and be downloaded in order to be used and at least 80% don't know how to install it

Either a more open featured mod or a mod vault. This was one of the first aim of FAF as lobby

I made 2 mods a 3599 original and a FA unleashed and none is a featured mod.
And when I ask why or someone ask why the answer is no !! So I would like to see this change and be more open for the diversity sake

No balance mods as featured mods.

If you want a classic mod vault, you will have to code it, it's not in my todo list.

It took me some time to setup the enviroment just to compile the FAF-Proxy. Is there any documentation on how to start developing mods, extending / making patches for the lobby and so on? I

come on ZeP,


This is more or less the same that a map vault.

The only thing to adapt is the launch of the game to be independent of the patching system( use of the original fa .scd files )

And in one shoot the refactoring of the featured and mod vault is done

This is a great feature that can done in no time

If you don't want to do it then how can I get the source code of the lobby ?

johnie102, who tries to program the mod vault based on the map vault did not get the source code either (look in the link zep gave you).

maybe you should try to contact him and ask the guy directly how he does it, whether he got the source code, and whether he needs help...

If you say so.

Even if it was true, I did not make the map vault (first olivarius then Raging_Squirrel).

I really don't think you should start from the map vault. There is nothing in common.

Ok this is the tools needed most of them I already have ... But the source code ? Don't you have it on a repo or I missed something ?
