Aoen TMD are most suck from all, becase dont destroy misile who flee under TMD and go away, they obly def place where it is build,
So its big disatvantage, Imho take biger range from aeon TMD would help them, styll it would be worst but better like its now, and diferent in aeon style

actually i like the aeon tmd most, it has disadvantages but it's good overall
it's just.. diffrent

Aeon TMD completely neutralizes Cybran's multi-missile and, in small numbers, cannot be over-powered with multiple missiles. It's an amazing TMD.

Posted this in the discussion for the last patch but its still the same and the replays remain the same.

Remember TML = 700-850 mass + 180 mass to build the missile
TMD = 280 mass
If you need to build 2 TMD to counter 1 TML your still ahead.

What you say is right that for stoping 1 TML = 880mass you need only 280 mass, but for making your Mexs safe you need how many 10 TMD? then you need 2400 mass for stoping 1 880mass, and another fraction need only 240, when you maybe 2400 thats a realy big diferent. And thats a reason why many of my freinds never would play aeon, becase this tmd is unsles in most situation. On def place where it is build its a best, but you cant has tmd on all places tahts unrealistick and when you dont has, then you can say bay-bay your mexes and you lose the game. With cybran/UEF/Sera you can make TMD wall and whole base is save, you spend 720 mass for whole base aons no way, they must has it on all position.

So when it would has biger range it absoluthly dont fix this disatvantage (of course somthime it is advantage becase on place it is best) but you dont would need so many TMD to save your base from TML

Trade UEF and Aeon TMD, I would have no problem trading the buzzkill for the Volcano, it is the best TMD by far, you just can't use it under shields, god forbid there be any gameplay that isn't cookie cutter.

Agreed.


The only thing I can suggest is to restore the Volcano flare to the Aeon Strategic bomber. The damned thing still has it in it's build description!!
