And I'd like to comment on your stuff, but those screenshots you give us always keep me from doing so.

Im lazy :| but ok, Ive tried something...
So some things you should know, map is center symetrical, I have props and decals only on 1/4 since Tokyto told me I can mirror it but I cant :| have to put those on other 1/4 as well and then rotate it. Dont look at those mexes slightly of position, thats gonna be fixed. And there are gonna be few civilian building in the middle (6-8) and 2-2 in corner on the walled plateau.
Also some additional wreckages like T1 tanks, inties all over the map.

No jammer crystal this time :D but walls stay!!

Ok, so here are some more pictures. Hopefully its enough. Like, comment, hate, suggest.

I feel this new map is very similar to the old one, except you play midleft/rightmid instead of topleft/botright

Strange, I could see some diferences like
- 5km instead of 10
- only 2 ways to acces mid instead of 4, who controls middle has acces to extra 6 mexes (only 2 in old one and they were easy to raid)
- no main expansions just few mexes on map
- idk maybe its just me but have you look at it? :D I think its really different

On the other map, if you started from the middle left/right you would still achieve the same effect you had with the other one as far as terrain. Yes the expansions are different but I look at more than that.

I don't mean to be a negative nancy but I don't feel there is as much distinction between them as there otherwise could be.

Much better screenshots.

Well, I don't know about the layout of the map... Spawns look turtle-friendly. Mass spots distribution is kinda weird, lanes are very few. I like the anorganic bits, but even the organic parts of the map look kinda anorganic, which I don't like.

I would remove a few single ,exes and add a few clusters instead.

So, we tested it a little bit and:

- gameplay is really good, i really enjoyed it. It is not turtle at all, it's very dinamic and the middle map crossing makes it very interesting
- reclaim balance is even better, not too much, just enough to boost you for a while
- small lakes add a little bit to the gameplay, as well as mountains on sides
- Cybran walls are a big plus, couse cybrans are the best
- the only minus is that the map is done 1/4 and rest is copied, so it doesn't look as good as it would with 1/2
- so currently i would rate this map with great 4/5 and really recommend it ;)

I had a look at it. I think it looks quite good. But for my taste it is too sterile. I would recommend breaking up the main stratum a little (the cracked earth texture) by putting a randomized cloudy mask over it with another texture.

I personally despise this texture anyway, because it has a metallic shine too it... god knows why...

I would say that its one of the the best textures actually :D even when it looks bit same. With this one you dont need to try hard and it still looks quite good.
