I don't like this one at all :/ It looks kinda sloppy. Because you have no normal decals at all the snow does not look reflective. The transitions between the different textures look like a low res image. Not your fault, I know, but there are ways to combat that. The height map is very basic all over the map, lots of sharp edges that create tons of artifacts. All the cliffs have the exact same height which makes it look very artificial and blocked out. And the layout itself I find kind of uninspired and frankly boring. Sorry :(

But I like the distribution of reclaim fields across the map. It has a nice pattern to it. Feels visually balanced. I also like the little bumps of accumulated snow at the foot of the some of the cliffs. Looks convincing. I also dig the upswing kind of shape that the cliff of the spawn plateau has to it.

It definitely is no masterpiece, I created it in 2h 10min to try creating a timelapse video :) I will be uploading that video later today.

I feel like the texturing was indeed inadequate, I had quite a bit of difficulty figuring out an okay looking combination of textures/lighting.

Cool. Your approach on placing mass spots and hydros is very different from mine. I always place dummy props on one half of the map where I want mexes and hydro to go, then I copy and rotate them, then I place the mexes and hydros on all of the dummy props and finally I delete the dummy props again. I think this is way faster than your method?
