Crash on save

Postby Mad`Mozart » 07 Jul 2014, 03:07

So i have this wtf crash when i try to save my map. Obviously nothing gets saved...
Maybe someone had this issue and know how to fix it?
Can even replicate it (at least in my map) - happens after i use elevation brush a bit. Ever so weird it can sound, looks like i hit an elevation cap, lol?
Also it generates logs, can post them if anyone knows what to look into :|

hhhmmm, i've never encountered this. could you post the map? would make troubleshooting much easier, logs may also help but if i get the same issue when trying to save your map then i'll get them anyways.

I've had it once before. The reason was that I had too many sharp angles in my height map. If you export the height map, double it's size, import to a new map and then saving doesn't cause a crash, this is the case.

Or you could just start using the blur a bit earlier than usually.
