Mirror props

Postby CrayzyNath » 24 Jul 2013, 00:20

Hey guys,
I have a question about props.

Is there a way to mirror props by the vertical axis?

Layers ~> props ~> Select the Props which should be mirrored with crtl+a and then crtl+c ~> tick the box " rotate about map center " ~> put 180 in the Yaw box and click SET ~ > press crtl+v.

Thx for this answer, but it would only help me, if I wanted to rotate about map center.
But I want to flip the props.

Just put another number in it? An other chance to do it is only doing it manually , but I wouldn't recommend that.

You know, this made me realize basically all SupCom are point symmetrical. There is at least one exception though. That is Theta Passage. Unless the maker of Theta found some ingenious way of making his map perfectly symmetrical along the mirror axis, Theta is basically not perfectly balanced, contrary to all other maps (granted they don't have some flaws like the non-current version(s) of forbidden path, where there was one big rock on one side but not the other...).

btw.. Prince, apparently you did not understand, what CrayzyNath wants, I guess. He wants to mirror, not to rotate.

Well if you copy your props and then rotate them around the central axis before pasting them you are mirroring them aren't you ?
