ACUs do not spawn

Postby Z0nE » 26 May 2013, 18:09

I recently created a new map. And as always I had lots of truble to get the map working. After ours of working I though i finally got it, but then the ACUs didn't spawn. Do you guys have any idea what the problem is? I made several maps before and never had that problem. If you need any information, I will post it.

Thanks

This could be due to any number of problems.

I suspect one of two issues: 1: YOu didn't put in ACU spawn markers, or 2: There's a problem with one of the files causing it to fail to load.

Why don't you enable cheats in the lobby, and press F9 when the game starts to see the error log? Uncheck all the boxes except "WARN" and then you'll only see the important warnings.

when pressing f9 the error box seems to appear but you can't see it. your mouse turns into a cursor on some parts of the screen so i assume its there but well, its invisible.
and its propably a file not loading

Play FA in windowed mode and you will never have trouble with the debug window.

I retook your map and modified some things to make it playable.

Next time, don't forget the "norushoffset" lines and be careful to the case sensitive in your scenario.lua file AND map folder ;)

I also removed your markers and rebuilt/renamed them. Now it's working.

Have fun 8-)

Tell me if it works please

I don't know why exactly, but they looks to be an issue for the editor.

By removed/replaced(I mean placing news)/renamed them, the problem fixed.

This was the first time I saw that ... but now it's ok ;)
