Hello again.
Recent circumstances have caused me to lift the boycott on FAF related contribution almost a year after it was put into place.
Thus, I've released content I had "held hostage" for the time period, effective immediately. (They're already in the vault)

The maps are:
For 10km 1v1, and 2v2 games: Wildpath
For 10km 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 games: Hymn and Bone
For 15x20km 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 games: Choir and Flagellant

This post serves as the new OP for any mapping related stuff that I do in the future, and if a moderator wants to lock the old thread, that would be just fine.
Please post any requests, feedback or questions related to mapping in this thread and I will answer them to the best of my ability.

Regarding permissions: please do not ever modify or redistribute (to the vaults) any of my content unless authorised.

Wildpath is now at V2: Added a basic description because I forgot to do so yesterday.
Hymn and Bone is now at V2: Fixed the tiny amount of Black Pane Bug that appeared in the lower valley. Cried to Blackyps to remedy the root cause.
Choir and Flagellant is now at V2: Removed one - and moved the rest of - the 5 mexes in the middle island to counter any incoming complaints about imbalances.

The advertisement for those is now up (thanks Dogfather) and they "may" appear in the next ladder pool if the system decides to draw them.
With that out of the way, let's talk about what comes next:

I don't know yet :imfine:
But I want to do either of these ideas:

Remaster Dual Gap EP, because I looked at it the other day and deemed it an abomination and because I am sick of everyone moving a mex one pixel and claiming the map as their own...
Make some 5km maps, because now that snipe mode is gone I realised I hadn't really bothered to make any.

Expect something about one of these two over the next month.
I also want to host another mapping tourney sometime soon.

Until then, please play the new maps and tell me what you think.

Yes.

Choir and Flagellant is now at V3: "Bumped" the reclaim so it correctly sits on the land layer instead of on the water. Reset waves.

Hymn and bone is now at V3: Corrected elevation so that units could not climb in and out of certain places in the center valley. (Hopefully)
Uploaded a fixed version of a third party map now called The Drunken Sailors Dance for ladder pool use.

Crashing Waves, a map I started on the 13th of Feburary 2016, has been updated to V6:

These changes were prompted by feedback/watching games on it during this current ladder pool rotation.
After cleaning the vomit that I let loose after seeing this map in the editor again; the changes that I did are as follows:

Removed the SAM turrets from the expansion islands, and the weird decals I had underneath them.
Moved the triad wrecks further inland on the plateau areas so players were not baited into attempting to ledgegrab them.
Removed the weird decals I had under said Triad wrecks as well.
Replaced the Salem/Thundershark wreckage in the middle with 3 underwater mexes, bringing the total to 4 mexes In the middle.
Centered said mexes, instead of being closer to the bottom player.
Added an underwater mex between the spawns and their native expansions, prompting players to head in that direction on foot.
Changed the lighting setup from the near-default abomination I had made to my current standard setup. (With a touch of green.)
Redid the water because I saved when it was disabled and thus lost it. :2head:
Added some color lerp so you can see the shore more accurately
Redid waves
Removed some strange terrain greeble in the water near the expansions.
Removed some of the terribly overscaled decals on the plateaus and the expansions.
Corrected ALL of the normal strata maps, because ALL of them were in some way done wrong.
Changed the macrotexture from evergreen to tundra, for personality.
Changed a strata layer that was using a macrotexture.
Changed the sand layer to this white wet sand one.
Changed the mountain textures to EVrock texture maps.
Changed some grass layers,
Changed a minor texture layer from rock to a grassy rock.
- I probably missed a few extra changes as well.

The pool is updated with this and the Hymn change now.
FAF is down currently so i'll upload it when that is sorted.
Next post will be those pictures of the new maps that I promised to upload for Scoot.
