TTerrainXP pink overlay

Postby Lionhardt » 16 Mar 2016, 00:23

Anybody know the hell is up with this? Came suddenly but I can't seem to undo it. In SupCom Vanilla the map looks normal. When I switch to TTerrain the pink goes away.

Ok, I found out what is wrong... at least kinda. When exporting the lighting here is bullshit code in the lua:

Code: Select all
Lighting = {
right_ascension = -2.3911,
declination = 0.942478,
multiplier = 1.83,
light_color = { 1.33, 1.61, 1.81 },
ambient_light_color = { 0.06, 0, 0 },
shadow_color = { 0.44, 0.44, 0.58 },
specular_color = { 0, 2.97484e-038, 2.29498e-039 },
specular_glow = -1.#QNAN,
bloom = 0.11,
fog_color = { 0.21, 0.21, 0.21 },
fog_start = 0,
fog_end = 1000,
}

The not a number code (QNAN) is not supposed to be there. Unfortunately importing a non-bugged lighting file does not fix this.

Always backup your stuff, guys, because the map editor is a bitch!

Fortunately I had a backup and could restore the last state of the map completely from that.
