T3 sonar for Seraphim.

T3 sonar for Seraphim.

T3 sonar for Seraphim anyone?
I mean, stuff like a T3 gunship could be put down to faction diversity along with a T3 sub, or T3 amphibious bot. But intelligence is very important. How would you like if your faction could never build an omni sensor? its a huge late game naval disadvantage that's borderline unfair. I'm not even asking for a super cool design, even though with the nomads creation, it couldn't be that hard, just copy past the Aeon T3 sonar over with different colors.

I'm against this. It's a factional disadvantage for seraphim, they do have enough good units, they dont need a buff.

seraphim t2 sonar is better than the other t2 sonars (has longer range)
Be inspired to learn. Then aspire to disturb.

That plus it's offset by superior t3 navy with very high faction diversity. T3 sub hunter, bship with nuker and great fire rate, carrier with long range and high speed AA shots and cruiser missile, t2 destroyers that are very tanky subs, t3 mobile shields, and engineers that can't be killed with torps. You'd have a better chance asking for the T2 sonar to be able to move.

Give the t2 sonar the ability to move, then it's good enough.

for the sake of faction diversity, please no t3 sonar
a (slowly) moving t2 sonar would be fair

Sera is strong enough, they don't need a moving t2 sonar.

There is maybe another way to keep faction diversity : if Seraphim is the faction where units have a dual role, maybe it's a good idea to give a strong sonar to the Carrier, like 400 range sonar (with 200 energy consumption or something like that). Thus, it can move, it's different from other factions because 10 times more expensive but it still exists somewhere in the Sera arsenal.
