You may argue that scathis is cheap right now while retaining its former destructive glory and inaccuracy..
I am sure you guys will find a way to balance it in relation to other factions if it needs be.
As a cybran lover though, I find it unacceptable that it's range is so low. It's a game ender for god's sake, its presence should generate awe and panick in any map even in 40x40 or 81x81(not that I have the patience to play those maps anymore). As a biased cybran I find it frustrating, that the hopes of other factions of nerfing the cybrans many times come to pass.
Take the acu for example the weakest of all factions. Cybrans are supposed to be aggressive, sneaky and delivering the first blow. Cybrans are supposed to be turtle breakers, don't take this from us.

Raise scathis cost to 80k mass, and make it amphibious.

Reduce monkey lord by 1.5k mass.

Problems solved.

Yes, the Scathis is 93k mass 150k energy in balance testing mod for 3 weeks now, nobody reported anything about it.

I personnally think that's a perfect price.

As for making the unit amphibious, it's not a bad idea, but i doubt it's easy to use for a speed 1 unit.

As much as I LOVE your frequent asinine comments zep, OBVIOUSLY the current balance testing mod doesn't incorporate ANY of the changes I just proposed and OBVIOUSLY it's easy to make changes after the testing period has begun as this has occurred MANY times already.

And, looks like 16 days from my count, not 20. Annoying huh?

I don't know what to say. I won't put everyone values in the test mod just because everyone think their ideas are better.

i think 93k mass is just too much. i dont see any reason to build a scathis now, because i would be able to do greater damage with less mass using other units. the problem is that you cant really show that with a replay. you will just note that scathis gets build fewer.

amphibious or not. does not really matter. its so slow that its better to just build it where you need it. but there is no argument against it, implement it and we will see...

Wholeheartedly agree. Then the Scathis would be useable on maps other than ISIS and would be worth any cost increase that goes with this patch.
