Recalling while being transport

in reality is more easy to kill a ACU in Transport, if you have something to kill the Transport...

In all honestly, they should upgrade due to the risk entailed.

No you can't pick up an ACU while upgrading. So I suspect you could not pick up an ACU while it is being recalled. However, after watching the replay I noted that the recall was initiated after the ACU has been loaded into the transport. Because the command is activated via a button in the UI and doesn't require the ACU itself to be selectable.

What's stopping other upgrades from being UI buttons and thus having the same freedoms?
