Aeon Champion is MIA

After the last Galactic War reset, the avatar ranks were not reset (I know because mine wasn't). I believe Chosen was the Aeon Champion before the last reset, so I'm assuming he still is. Accoring to Aulex, Chosen has left FAF.

Whether or not that is the case, I don't know. Perhaps though, it might make sense to automatically demote the faction leader if they don't participate in GW for a period of time (i.e. a few days, or maybe a week). This way, a more active player would have an opportunity to fill that role.

He told me he was leaving, but he's recently renamed himself so i'm not exactly sure. But ignoring this, I agree there needs to be some sort of system to replace inactive leaders, maybe voting system?

I'd agree with the concept. However, this might require a rework if the level 8 commander requires credits for access. Demotion would require that:

- Level 8 be assigned by the server without any upgrade cost;
- Or that demotion provide a refund for the credits spent on ranking up.

I'd imagine it wouldn't be hard to implement a refund in those cases. I suspect if one doesn't play for a long time though, one is going to have a full bank of credits anyway.

Guess I'm late to the party. It's been five months since that thread and still, nothing has been done about this issue.

Because the last rank has no purpose (yet), I don't see the point of coding stuff to manage it.

Oh...I was under the impression that the faction leader could buy planetary defenses or units that the lower ranks could not. If there's no additional benefit for being the faction leader, I guess it doesn't really matter then.

I thought the rank 8 guy could buy the 'game enders' like the Sat or the Scathis
