i have a question about the new map:
the UEF parts are opposite of eachother
the Aeon parts are opposite of eachother
but Cybran and Seraphim dont have their 2 parts of the galaxy opposing eachother.
Maybe it doesnt make much of a difference but it really confuses me why this is.
Is there and reason for it? it would be more symmetrical and balanced if they also opposed themselves. its just... strange to me

I thought that the information of the planets under attack were then placed in the "Intelligence Tab", not in the Galaxy map page..

I thought sera and cybrans were not opposite each other, because they were switched, so that any faction can attack any other faction, rather than just the two.

That is true. But as you can see, having a obtuse 'L' shaped sectors is strategically different to having directly opposite sectors. Because it is easier to unify those territories. Whether or not this is an advantage, I don't know. Taking the middle (as Seraphim and Cybran are currently doing) exposes them to a large perimeter which must be defended.

For an exact balance, I would recommend something like the image attached. Each of the factions maintain borders with all three opposing factions. They are also arranged in an Obtuse 'L' configuration.

everyone L shaped is actually much better than just everyone directly infront of themselves. (what i simply thought of when i noticed the map thing)
