Another possibility would be to bring the PD by a beacon, like reinforcements. civ-ally-SCU with fabricator upgrade building the pd for you on the desired spot. The SCU could be taken out midway through transporting, and it would be hard to build the beacon in someone's base anyways (if the beacon is destroyed before the SCU lands, the 'call-in' is cancelled. After building is canceled the SCU recalls. HP of the SCU could be also adjusted(?)

This way PDs can be built for free in designed spots, but prevented from being built to far in, as the ACU would have to be present to put the PD 'beacon'.

It's already in the game, you just don't have the interface yet.

But it's very different than planetary defense. Planetary defense stays there as long as they are not destroyed.

And more importantly : They are there to .. defend. No attack.

and if we are able to out the PD outside of the base?

or by placing on the GW lobby(in some places in the base)

or by having some vehicles that morph into Turrets?

Defenses are for defenses. They will stay as it is, because it works exactly as intended, having the purpose I wanted them to have. Balance costs are another topic that I won't discuss until all features are done.

Building reinforcements is a featured already implemented in FA mod you are using now but not yet in the lobby.
You will be able to build them where you want, but they won't stay on the map (maybe I will change my mind on that, but very unlikely).

I have nothing more to say, I keep repeating myself :)

Also, why asking for stuff is nice, I'm not planning to add anything more than what I've planned. I'm already working on all free time on this and this has to stop at some point.

what I mean is to place Defenses on places that are'nt your main base, like a Firebase...

That's exactly what "building reinforcements" will be. Not planetary defenses.

Even if you set the wrecks' reclaim values to 1;1, is that not possible to ctrl-k the structures then build the same on top of wreck wich starts from half ready then reclaim it and get 50% of the mass and e this way? Or if wreck's values aren't ordinary nor the building will be halfbuilt?

I don't really get the point of ctrl-k a free building for rebuilding it for half the normal cost.

But it's simple. You build on wreck then reclaim. It is not that effective as simply reclaiming but you can bypass the 1 mass thingy and use defense buildings for eco boost.
