Me and koecher trying to connect

Just now, I attacked planet 58, then started watching some replays. Koecher counter-attacked, FA failed to launch twice, I exited out of my replay, fa launched again for gw, while connected it tried to launch AGAIN and failed.

Then koecher attacked again, but reported he wasn't able to attack because he was already attacking. My game still launched and failed to connect. wtf?
