tracking down past dev

Postby Thim » 07 Dec 2014, 06:30

As I said in an earlier post, I am looking into updating the AI for faf. When looking over the current code, I have noticed several comments left behind by someone named Duncan. Does anyone know of a way to contact Duncan and find out what he already did with the AI code?

You could probably send him a message on the gpg forum and pray to god he responds. Hopefully what you want is in the thread somewhere

If you're planning to get the improvements info FAF I highly recommend you to work in a forked repo of http://github.com/FAForever/fa, otherwise you will have a hard time merging it into the game if / when we change files you're already messing with.

Alright, I'm confused now. The sticky post said that this repo was using bitbucket. Did we switch over, or are the two the same?

Ok. Do you have any recommendations for IDEs that work well with both repos and Lua?
