GAZ_UI & Hotbuild integration problem

Postby ZLO_RD » 26 Sep 2014, 10:07

problem was there since beginning and everyone was aware of it.

when you have gaz_ui or az_ui or hotbuild mod in your mod folder even if mod is deactivated it can affect your UI and mess with integrated gaz_ui and hotbuild features.

if you do not use new gaz_ui hotbuild features you may not notice any problem, except maybe being unable to enable new features or have issues after enabeling them.
in addiction to that, there are 2 mod folders, and people forget to check both...

people was told to delete gaz_ui hotbuild mods from mod folder and reset settings (delete game.prefs)
but it was pretty long time ago, and people who didn't do so may experience trouble now, and get frustrated why they have to reset settings.

but is there really no other way to fix issue?
or it is just by having new FAF UI it becomes incompatibe with old UI mods?
But why they affect stuff even when they are disabled? (at least it is really looks so that they do)

i have not done much research here, more like just asking if anyone knows answer.

Hey,

it just needs someone who knows what there doing to merge all 3 mods into one mod, i have no doubt with them being some part UI mods that some functions are destructively hooked. The only real way to fix it would be to intergrate all 3 into a single mod.

:)
