I say we make them home not to the claw, but to the feet. Then it looks like they're being magneted in to be trampled, and also allows us to detonate as soon as they are inside a required range. Or even just leave the footfall to do the killing :p

Na that would look like crap....

AeonCleanse / Sheeo, I just saw on GITHUB that your working on a solution to the GC beam issues. The reality or conclusion I came to is that all beam weapons basically modified projectile systems so why not just use a real projectile system to solve some of the issues?

The CG system I created will do this and it's possible to kill the unit launch behavior so the tractor claws behave how players expect them too. Oh another thing, the GC's firing arc's currently in use cause a ton of buggy behavior with the claws attempting to face units beyond the set yaw and pitch limits.

A homing projectile would look ridiculous cork-screwing towards the GC with a unit attached. As for the exploit I don't think thus is possible with my last build but please have at it and let me know if anything needs to be corrected.

Very unlikely, you'd need a huge community request, though the adjustments that you pointed out to the claw targeting parameters are in my fix, so thanks for those tips :p If you checkout that branch on git you'll see the Colossus is finally working as intended.

I'm a bit disappointed as this was something the GC should of had from day one. At least the claw firing arcs made it in.

So any takers / support? This mod would allow the GC to become what GPG should of released in the first place!
