Who to talk to about donating a new mod?

Postby brandonpotter0 » 21 Nov 2013, 20:18

Ok, so I finally finished the Wyvern Battle pack ;-) Atleast, until I start working on a new version. hahaha.

All that it needs is rebalancing for FAF, but sine Zep never answers his PMs, who do I talk to about getting my mod into FAF as a featured mod? :3

Well, the Balance team needs to have a crack at it first, or else it would be very unbalanced with FAFs balance changes.

No one. Technically, Im the only one on my team :P

Tis all a Solo effort.

I was referring to the FAF Balance team, since my units arent properly balanced for Normal FA anyways :D

Thats the problem, Im not all that great at balancing. I base their stats off of similar units, and that seems to work...rarely. Then again, If the FAF team was able to try their hand at balancing it before I upload it to the mod vault, that would be so awesome :D

I don't think the faf balance team has time or interest to balance third party mods. It is already a lot of work to balance the main faf.

Or you could put your mod up and give people an opportunity to play it and report any balance issues and suggestions to you with possible fixes. The best way to test balance is by playing and by not uploading the mod you are just making it harder
