The clan app is now integrated to the website. This is what I've been working for for the past two days.







It's currently deployed on https://faforever.com/clans, be sure to come by and test it
The current clan app will be retired in favor of the website, as soon as the code is reviewed and ready.

In my opinion stuff should be usefull, but I cant say this about current version clan app.

Now we can not sort by any column by table header.
There is no option to know how is working "Recently active clans"
So its confusing me really hard.

I tried to understand reasoen why and which clan can be in this list:
- latest clan invation user? no
- latest created? no
- biggest by number of players? no

I have no ideas what kind of activity used to show clan in list of "Recently active clans".

I miss good navigation bar in clan app page which could help me naviggate fast from one page to another: like from bowse clans then I want move to clan manage what I should to do? Right, back to main using button "Clans". Is that possbile to make soft (not browser) button "Back"?

I didnt find any search field for searching by clan tag or clan description - thats not usefull. I think its obvious we should have option searching clan by its name and descruptions as native but now its possible to search clan by player. Thats broke a bit my mind. It could be usefull if you are knnow clan leader name. But whats about if we know ony clan tag?

I'm not sure I understood your last paragraph : You can currently search clans in the "Browse" section, by tag and by name (but not by player).



Searching by player would be possible server side, but it would necessitate the website to do a LOT of caching (that means fetching the total list of players of FAF in advance, and storing it somewhere, and refreshing it often) which is a costly operation that would slow the server and the website (we have so many players!).


Regarding the rest:
- The recently active clan page is decided by arbitrary criterias, mostly recently updated player/clan, so that it always displays a different list and that the clans in it count active players, of any size (but bigger clans having more players, so more chance to be updated often, they will stay around that recent list a bit more than other smaller clans). This page also does not display clans with only 1 player.
- You can already go back to managing your clan very quickly by clicking on your profile picture, top right, and selecting "My clan" - which will bring you back to clan management immediatly, from any page.

And as additional example to explain my point of view regard basic UI for clan apps I just paint scetch to show how it could looks.

In my opinion avtion bar should be prsent on each page of app. When I talk about action bar I mean menu with subcategories of canapps lile "Recent clans", ""Browse clans, and etc with hithlighting marks.

Oh come on pls let it back and work.
New clan app was very nice and fast! Compare with previous version.
But now I see old version on the main site page.
I getting error while trying to use new one app.


Im sure in close future new app could get filters by columns and other things. But new app more suitable and comfortable.

Hello everyone, clan app has been temporarily disabled because of another website update that stresses the python server too much. We're currently looking into it
