FAF Debugging Basics

I have been searching through some of the developer forums, and I can't quite seem to find any topics geared toward the debugging of FAF LUA scripts to find ways in which I can start contributing back to the community by increasing the stability of FAF or it's maps. Can some one help a fellow programmer out by pointing me at some good starting points on where to go after setting up the developer environment to be able to get back meaningful information about what went wrong in the event of a FAF game crash?

You need the players game.log file
It will contain stack trace of the error
Then stare at code
