engi´s building beam

Postby ZeRen » 25 Jan 2015, 11:31

if you look at Aeon they have beautiful building beam, so you can perfectly see what which engi building or which one is idle, big advantage for Aeon ( from my view)

Serafim all so has nice beam, not that good as Aeon, but better then nothing

UEF, now it is getting worse, their beam is not so visible and it´s shaking, not good at all

Cybran, well they have non, so it is very hard to see idle engies in base, very bad for cyb players

so my suggestion is give to other three races better building beam, to be more visible, especially for Cybran - at least give Cybran ACU´s building beam to engis, please ;)

Good suggestion, the cybran engineer's build beam will be more visible next patch

the beam will "shot" on building (or whatever he is building/assisting) or at the engie's drone?

The engineer will have a beam at the thing it's building (which replaced an almost invisble beam it had at the drone). The seperate drones still have their own build beams. It's the same behavior as the Cybran ACU.

Problem is you don't know what the engy is building.

Another thing to (maybe) consider is that engy beams should be visible in strategic view (at least to a point) just like certain projectiles are.

How about some sort of optional overlay, not unlike intel/attack/AA ranges?
