replays load time

idk if anyone suggested that but why reading all replays from local. Just 1 day wuld be good and no loading time

when you press "replays" it checks all replays in your local folder. More you have - longer it takes. You dont load all wikipedia everytime you need to check 1 thing

Does it actually become much slower with thousands and thousands of replays? I would be surprised unless you have a really slow HDD. And it doesn't load the replays, it simply lists them (so replay size doesn't matter at least).

Yes, if you're using a conventional hard disk (non-SSD) and have lots of replay it stalls because it goes through each file in the directory. Only happens if the files aren't already in memory/filecache of course.

I think root had some fix to this earlier this fall, not sure it got in or not.

yeaaa would be great to fix that!!!

cause people that use replay vault and have 1000+ replays have to remove replays from replay folder

yes sure. But the point is people are keep asking in aeolus about slow load time.
