Do you know what is most annoying thing for cybran play? :D upgrading shields
why? becouse you have to click..wait..click...wait and this 4th times, it is incredible slow and annoying, and if you have to build one shield by one, uffff nightmare :x

yes eco mod bring some shortcut (finally) but, sry shift+ctrl+s is terrible and it can´t be changed (if Iam wrong please tell me how)

so what Iam asking is make possible to build cyb shield straight on ED4 or ED5 on T3 com/eng/SCU
I dont see problem no big advantage if you keep build time and cost (just sum up all shield upgrades)

please consider this

you should be able to change any hotkey in your game.prefs, or in some file in the mod itself, but i don't use the mod, so don't know.

I requested this too (hotkey/button for ED5 (and T3 sonar, mex and so on), but also to fix the wait/deselect-select between upgrading something (also annoying for sonar and other buildings), and making ED4/5 with T3 engy aswell). But the last one is not so easy, we had this issues when making engymod that could only be solved with a lot of hacking by rienzilla. If you make the structure buildable right now, it would have the same price as the upgrade, and you save the price of ED1+ED2+ED3+ED4 that you have to pay otherwise. So you need a new unit that has the same name and looks the same as ED5 shield, with all costs added and then there are more problems that i luckily had nothing to do with.

So at least one person knows how to solve this, and did so with the support factories that T3 engies can make. And it is one of the changes that would be included in a mod sheeo might make among many other things, but that's not decided yet.

Changing the hotkey, or making it possible, will be much easier.

- oh engy mod, kinda bugy :D , sometime I build T2 suport and it build only T1 units, happened to me with engy drop, I built 2 T3 support and It wan just build T1 :D :D you can imagine what fun it was :D , copying build order all so buggy

- that´s shame, I didn´t thing it´s too hard :cry: just a suggestion

- off topic but I wrote it anyway :) - the weakness of cyb T2 PD make me sad :| no chance to win turtle

That wait/select/deselect thing... is that the same shit that deletes half-build units when you cancel the next identical unit in the buildqueue?

I always thought it to be imbalance, when your shields are unable to hold to t3 arty. Even building ed 3 would be nice in that case, but not silly ed1.
