Lobby without aeolus

i would like to know if its possible to create a lobby without aeolus. Basically just adding a "x" to close aeolus tab would be sufficient too

I made a lobby with just the games tab. So making it without the chat tab is trivial.

The ideal I think though is to be able to close tabs vs just stripping everything out.

I'm sure there was threads about this before? Was the problem no one wanted to do it, or was there counter arguments to hiding the tabs?

I just want a very light 1v1 lobby. Not really a lobby at all. Just 4 buttons to launch ladder in my system tray.

I'd kill for proper IRC implementation with the ability to join/leave channels. Like leaving Aeolus.

Of course it's possible. In fact it's rather simple - however the part I would not be able to advise you on is wrapping your own changes up into a personal 'theme' - but there are many here who would be able to. You will need the PyQt4 framework though.
