Team Colours

I dont use this function because I like to know to whom a unit actually belongs to.
Thus I'd suggest changing team colours from green/red to unique shades of green/red.

Image

For enemies: FF3333 FF0000 CC0000 990000 660000 330000

for allies: 0000FF 0033FF 0066FF 0000CC 000099 000066

for yourself can stay as green: 339933

maybe

also you may need more than that if you have over 6 allies/enemies but i doubt that will happen cos largest map size is 6v6, and you must be playing on really unfair teams for that to happen.

I don't see why that is necessary. If you want to see ownership use player colour. If you want to see allegiance then change it to team colour.

I will sometime find myself toggling team colour in a game. It is useful in the opening brawling stages for identifying enemy ACU's. It is also good for identifying whether civilians are enemy or neutral. When I have team colour engaged, it is precisely because I am not concerned with who the unit belongs to - but whether it is friend or foe.

Some people would like to basically always play with the same colours without losing the ability to tell whose units whose. It's a preference really. Yea, you can toggle to get the same info, but if you always want to play shades of red vs shades of green, you are SOL.

:shrugs:

Not my cup of tea, but I still support it.

In 4x4 games its hard to know whos team is who sometimes. Team colours would negate that but still let you know the individual... both things are important.
