Radical Idea

Postby TheKoopa » 28 Feb 2014, 02:06

I'm going to make this short and sweet: Make the Titan T2.

There is ample reasoning behind this, for one, it can't deal with T2 very efficiently, let alone T3. It gets absolutely raped by T2, even though a Titan costs amply more mass than an Ilshovah, for example, which can easily beat the Titan mass-for-mass. Moving the Titan to T2 might be able to balance things out a little in terms of the UEF T3 Assault Bot. And yes, I know, "the UEF have the Percy" but this makes no excuse for the Titan to get face-raped by anything above a Blaze.

titan is 2.5 tier, since we don't have 2.5 tier category we stick it in t3 cause sticking in t2 would just be rape

i think the titan is a t3 raiding unit, it has got speed and enough damage to destroy eco quickly. i think it is not suited for combat as its main purpose. but you still have a point. uef has no t3 unit that can deal efficiently with t2, unlike the other factions. the percy just overkills the hell out of t2 and is also too slow to be a cost efficient counter. i thus dont quite understand the reactions, as this is at leasst an issue worth adressing, even if your solution is probably not one...

Sure T2 units counter titan mass for mass. But titan being on T2 means that it can be rushed very quickly and by that time, when you get enough obsidians or inshavohs, you might lose all expansions and all T1 land forces and still have a veteran titan on you.

There will be no point in pillar as well, because titan is more efficient.

There will be no point in loyalist being on T3 because it's very close unit to titan.

I don't think that this is a good idea. My answer is "no".

you need to know how to use the Titan.

Titan is T-3 unit, and the main role is raid and fast attack.

If you put it to T-2 would be a big mistake for Big maps(20x20)
