Feature Request: Donate units.

Postby Innomen » 04 Feb 2014, 18:05

Now this one might already exist, but if it does I can't find it.

I would like to be able to put units I select under the control of a team ally via the diplomacy menu.

Really? Can you link me to something that would explain how? Is there a way to request units from an AI ally?

1. Select units which you want to donate
2. Go to the diplomacy tab
3. Search for the player who you want to donate the units to
4. There are two buttons. "Ressouces" and "Units". Click on Units.
5. A question is asked, if you really want to donate. Click the option you want.
6. The unit is donated to the selected ally

This mod is really helping in donating units and ressources, as you no longer need to go to a menu, but just press the right button:
viewtopic.php?f=41&t=4739

For your second question:
You can only request a donation manually, for example by pinging and chatting.

Which sucks. I'd like to be able to track allied units, just to watch the show :)

I think it should be possible to select enemy units too, just to get an idea of what is in there.

My screen is not big enough to yield all the information from a zoomed out glance, so its often hard to tell what the enemy is packing; especially when you have 15 other things to micro about.

I can't afford PA :/ I'm kinda stuck with humble bundle games. But there are plenty of great ones :)
