ACU Phase Shift / No collision button

Just an idea from DOTA. You can buy 'phase boots' and activating them grants a few seconds of no collision.

It would be neat if the ACU had a phase shift (no collision) button for when it gets trapped between engies. Just a few seconds so it can escape. I don't think it would introduce any balance issues.

Whether this would cost anything (small energy cost perhaps) or would work for other units like SACU is another question we can discuss.

This would also make intentional blocking impossible, or you'd have to make it so that it only works for friendly units.

Then you can run backward through your line of tanks which shouldnt be that easy either

Can't you just use a transport if it's really that dire? Or just not block your ACU in to begin with?

i wonder if its even possible because isnt the collision etc. coded in the engine? isnt that stuff you arent allowed to change?

In the early sup-com beta, the UEF ACU was MASSIVE, meaning it dealt damage to units by walking into them. You could always do that lol

I'd actually quite love where this has gone in my brain. Increase ACU size by 50%, give it Massive, give it a decent amount of footfall damage...
