Kennel, Does it need to be fixed?

the Kennel now and days basically turns enemy ASF into hawks from TA. if you have a fire base with kennels in a setons game it WILL get destroyed by ASF. There are a few solutions that i can think of to fix this. (not saying any of them are good or the best so no trolling)
1. Drastic solution a make all air units have 1/10 HP and 1/10DPS like Vanilla. Also lowering sam & flak DPS. This would make and ASF (read hawk) attack only do 40dps each compared to 400. this would make the ASF strafing run have no effect on a fire base. (really 1/10 of the effect)
2. Make Drones untargetable by ASF. This will obviously be a massive buff to the drones so to counter i would propose making them unable to capture/convert enemy units. imagine (100 drones capturing a monkey lord without flak support)
Any ideas, any more solutions.

I can't tell if you are serious or if you are trolling. ..
If you're serious, I can't really understand why you want an engineering unit , to be practically invulnerable to enemy fire.
Or why you prefer this , instead of taking obvious measures to guard those units. That they can be easily killed by asfs , sometimes at seton's , can't be a serious excuse. Ordinary engineers can be massacred by any ordinary land units; should we make them invulnerable to ground fire?

People have no problem with Drones getting obliterated by ASFs. The part I take issue with is a single pass of ASFs destroying every building in my base. This problem makes drones a useless, dangerous, self destructing non-necessity.

why not just air-to-air damage vs buildings gets set to 0.
i mean, theres no building that air-to-air is actually supposed to kill, right?

Because even if you could do that, they would still instaKO your base's shields, which is deadly when comboed with Arty bombardment.

The fact that air-to-air can hit ground in this scenario is a silly side effect that should be looked at.

some ideas
- let the drones fly at same height as asf or at least higher than shields
- make drones untargetable for the aa weapon of T1-T2-T3 fighters/bombers/gunships and add another "very low damage weapon(health of a drone per pass)". That weapon could be some sort of laser(Cerberus) and should only target drones and perhaps other ground units. Health of drone is 6. So one pass of 100 asf make 600 damage.Any shield even mobile t2 can regenerate that damage easily.
- if its possible: damage from aa projectiles to shields reduced. shield of continental should than be reduced and health increased
- reduce health of all air units and all aa dps to 1/12
