Umm the terminology is more advanced. Because Seatons games are played so regularly, within the metagame, all four positions have different names. There is Front, Beach, Rock and Air.
Because the map is rotationally symmetrical team 1 (north east) features Beach to the north. Team 2 (south west) has their Beach to the south. Both teams have two naval players, Beach and Rock. Beach will always face Rock on the opposing team. They are so named because of the terrain at their starting locations.
The only tutorial I haven't seen is Rock, because this is the easiest position to play. Rock has an advantage with more mex locations, and is also closer to the island. Beach has less mass, and his coastline is more vunerable. Given evenly matched players, Beach will eventually loose to Rock, because of the natural disadvantage. Therefore, a natural aspect of gameplay is that Air or Front will assist Beach to defeat the opposing Rock. Or for Beach to buy enough time for Air, Front and Rock to win the game.
Alternatively, Beach can manage to capture or deny the island. It is quite cheeky, and less common. But it can reduce or nullify the advantage which Rock has.
I suspect there are no tutorials for Rock, because it is the easiest position to play. However, Front, Beach and Air all have tutorials - and it would be beneficial for the prospective Rock player to watch the Beach tutorial. To learn the how best to expoit Beach's weakness.
