Native Mod Support?

How possible would it be to have native mod support where you automatically download mods the host has enabled that you do not have - similar to how we download maps we don't have.

That is to say - if somebody wanted to host a mod with adjustments to ASFs it would be noted like any mod and downloaded if the player does not already have it. I think this would be great for the community, those tinkering with balance and mechanics, and FAF in general. Sorry if this is an old idea. And if this is something that is possible but requires time and effort please point me to the kickstarter, I'm ready to throw my money at you!

Would require a mod vault, that we don't have.

what is our limitation with regards to implementing a mod vault? is there a way GPG could help or is there any way I could contribute? or is it not possible with our current lobby?

It is possible, take time, not really a priority.

Thanks for the answer zep - I hope this does make the long list though as I can see it being invaluable to balance testing and community longevity in general.
