Forum suggestion: Stop new users from editing posts

From what I have seen so far the biggest improvement to phpBB is the mobile view and the admin panel (phpBB admin panel really sucks hard)

Oh I just remembered the one thing I really hate about NodeBB. Its stupid half-page "new post" window. I have never, not once in the history of BBs, wanted to continue looking at the topic list while creating a new topic. What an utterly useless waste of space that just screams "look mom, dynamic pages!". If there's an option or a stylesheet or something that does away with that, I am 100% in favor of removing it.

I checked and there isn't but the Composer is "just" a plugin and could be replaced with a different one. I know there are other ones but I didn't look at them so far. If you are interested you can try them out on the board and I could give you admin access.
