I think this would be a nice feature, Its annoying when "my" color is taken than I get a random other not taken color.

I suggest that everyone can add a preference list of colors that it will choose from in descending order if the top color is in use.

Just to interject here, the colour is not random. It's the first one not taken from the list top to bottom.

Yes, but that still feels pretty random. It would be better if you could decide the list it looks trough imo.
